Mobile friendly websites: How important are they and why?

CBCOMobileFriendlyBlog

Here’s the hard truth: Having a mobile friendly website is 100% necessary in this day and age and if your site isn’t up to par, you are losing business. In fact, I can honestly say that having a non-responsive site is almost as bad as not having a site at all!

Here are a few reasons why:

  • Your customers expect it. Did you know that 79% of shoppers who don’t enjoy their website experience are less likely to ever return to or buy from that site again? If tablet and phone visitors cannot quickly and easily navigate your site, they will leave…and they won’t come back.
  • Your competition already has. Say that you own a boutique and you sell the best clothes at the best prices in your area. However, your competition has a mobile responsive site that captures potential customers more than your non-responsive site. Who do you think will have more sales?
  • You’ll be penalized if you don’t. Yep! That’s right, folks. Google is now penalizing websites that are not mobile friendly and placing priority on sites that are. In order to avoid falling in your search ranking, you’ll need to upgrade your site sooner rather than later.
In summary, a website is essential to a competitive business. Furthermore, if you are looking to grow your business, impress your customers and beat out your competition, you need to go above average and mobilize your site.

I created my logo with one idea in mind: Simplicity. This translates into my ideology of my business as well as my overall design aesthetic when creating sites for my clients. I recently read an article explaining how colors affect how your brand is perceived and found it to be spot on for mine.
